 Ref. PLANT 01 Head of Process Control
Qualifications sought:
- Technical Engineer or similar.
- Proven knowledge and skill in control systems including definition of requirements, design, configuration, integration and implementation of control systems in an industrial process. Knowledge of PLC and DCS systems such as Allen Bradley, Emerson, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.
-Spanish speaker with good level of English.
- Ability to lead, used to coordinating resources and committed to high standards of health, safety and environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design/implementation of a new DCS control system to monitor and operate the copper processing plant (including crushing, grinding, solids/liquid separation, leaching, neutralization, solvent extraction and electrowinning).
- Act as the company's representative and direct the engineering contractors for the project control systems.
- Review and modify control links and ensure changes are properly documented and maintainted.
- Prepare and control departmental budgets and ensure optimum utilization of resources at least possible cost.
- Provide daily support for monitoring and optimizing the plant control systems, including assisting the Operations and Maintenance Areas, and attending meetings with them.
- Participate in risk analysis, optimization/modification of the control system to reduce risks in the process.
- Collaborate in correctly implementing and managing the Maintenance Management System.
- Analyse and propose improvements for the control system.
- Provide the Control Panel Operators team with the necessary training to ensure maximum utilization of the control system.

Ref. PLANT 02 Ore Processing Supervisor
Qualifications sought:
- Basic academic qualifications and basic computer skills are essential.
- Technical qualifications preferred.
- Professional experience in similar roles and in the sector are essential.
- Professional experience in the post is preferred.
- Spansih speaker with at least elementary knowledge of English.
Responsibilities:
- Plant operation including start-ups and shut-downs.
- Control of local operating panels and monitoring of Area's equipment.
- Control of process variables.
- Reporting of anomalies in mechanical or electrical maintenance equipment.
- Coordination and supervision of ore processing plant operators and preparation of Production and Operation sheets.
- Safety, risk prevention and respect for the environment, when undertaking any operation in the section.

Ref: PLANT 03 Hydrometallurgical Process Supervisor
Qualifications sought:
- Experience in process plants, operation of hydrometallurgical process plants, solvent extraction, leaching, electrowinning, construction, management control systems, process equipment diversity, planning and safety, SHEQ, contract and personnel administration.
- Spanish speaker with written English.
- Computer skills at user level, electronic plans, word processors and presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Will coordinate, manage, train and evaluate the human resources assigned to his/her team according to the legal regulations and CLC standards.
- Responsible for gathering, obtaining, standardizing the plant operating information, e.g. human resources, equipment, maintenance, material resources, metallurgy data, safety, etc., continually monitoring the operation in situ and with the information generated, propose alternatives to optimize operations in the leaching, solvent extraction, pre-neutralizaction and electrowinning areas.
- Will also coordinate all the tasks and liaison with the crushing, grinding, filtering and fines deposition area, to ensure the continuous operation/maintenace of the plant.
- Responsible for revising the plant production plans and operating costs, always seeking alternatives that increase both economic and productivity results. Will be responsible for communicating, encouraging and gathering proposals for continuous improvement that come from within his working team.
- Must respond to concerns regarding technical operating, administration and metallurgy aspects of the team he leads, liaising with the team and the plant supervisors to develop improvements and/or modifications in the process.
-Will control and administer contracts relating to the operational support of the plant , such as contractors of various services, laboratories, earth-moving firms, etc.
- Responsible for keeping in permanent contact with suppliers and contractors, assessing and incorporating operating improvements, work methods, equipment, reagents, and any new developments which optimize the profitability and productivity of the operation.
- Responsible for plant safety aspects for in-house and contractor personnel, suppliers and outside specialists.

Ref: PLANT 04 Mechanics Supervisor
Qualifications sought:
- Academic qualification in Englineering preferred, FP2 qualification essential
- Knowledge acquired through experience is essential
- Professional experience in the same role and with similar functions is essential
- Professional experience in the sector preferred
- Spanish speaker with good understanding of English
Responsibilities:
- Organize, motivate and control the personnel under his/her responsibility, ensuring: (1) each worker is properly employed and has the materials and tools required to achieve maximum productivity; (2) the daily work schedule as indicated by the planner and agreed in the daily planning meeting is carried out as programmed; (3) working areas are cleaned up on completion of tasks; y (4) staff complete the work report documentation required.
- Implement the KP Program and propose any changes needed to ensure maximum availability at minimum cost.
- Maintain close contact with the Warehouse to ensure adequate stock levels for Maintenance requirements and cooperate with Purchasing dept. for acquiring materials and contracting services to assure the best choice at the least price.
- Control work carried out and immediately correct any unsafe practice or any delays.
- Fill out the daily Work Orders and complete the work on time.
- Analyse any breakdowns and propose improvements to operating and maintenance procedures, or for materials, to avoid repeat occurrence.
- Participate in preparing and controling the Maintenance Budget.
- Cooperate in interpreting the business strategy and encourage good relationships between the staff under his/her control and the Management.
- Participate in implementing the Rules and Procedures and motive his/her staff to comply with them.
- Substitute the Head of Mechanical Maintenance during his/her absences if necessary.
- Attend the daily planning meetings between Maintenance and Operations.
- Keep in active contact with the heads of Operations and Planning to ensure that the teams continually work to meet Management objectives.
- Train the staff under his/her charge and recommend training courses. Train up their own substitute.
- Cooperate in developing the Labor-related Risk Prevention Program, meeting and ensuring that the necessary Safety practices are met in the various fields.
- Any other responsibility of a similar nature assigned to him/her.

- Operators for the areas of Crushing, Grinding, Solids/liquid Separation, Neutralization/filtering, Leaching, Electrowninng and Control Panel.
- Operation of the section, including start-ups and shut-downs

- Preparation of operations sheets and equipment check sheets
- Control of dosage of ore, reagents and process variables and sampling
