The health and safety of all workers and contractors will be an integral part of Las Cruces’ success. As a responsible and committed company, CLC will make every effort to observe the most demanding ethical and legal criteria applicable in the prevention of workplace risks. We will invest the necessary time and resources to develop behaviours that foster a health and safety culture, including:

  • Having a working environment in which employees and contractors are protected and safe.
  • Having systems, procedures and global objectives in place at corporate level, aimed at achieving the maximum levels of safety.
  • Having health and safety criteria integrated into all major corporate decisions.
  • Ensuring that all CLC workers take personal responsibility for their own safety as well as the safety of the fellow workers, the installations, machinery and equipment.
  • Stimulating and developing a positive attitude toward the prevention of accidents and occupational illnesses.
  • Identifying the safety risks from initial planning through to management of the operations.
  • Utilizing safety criteria when selecting and assessing suppliers, requiring behavioural standards according to CLC’s own.
  • Encouraging communication and training in risk prevention.
  • Planning Health and Safety management systems through programmes that define the necessary measures and which permit evaluation.
